IMPORTANT NOTES: Before upgrading your firmware, you need to download and install first the latest PC Software (Digital Media Manager) from the web site.

Do I need the software?
To check the firmware version of your device.
- Press Menu and scroll for Settings > Information.

- If you already have the latest version, there is no need to upgrade.
How to download the software to your PC
- Launch the Windows Explorer
- Enter the Philips support site at url http://www.philips.com/support
- Select your resided country & language
- Enter the model number
- Click on Software under Product Support
- Double click your desired language under Firmware upgrade software to download the firmware to your PC.
- Download the file in a temp directory on your PC.
How to upload the software to your device
Please follow the steps below to upgrade your hdd100 or hdd120 Recording Audio Jukebox with the latest firmware
1. First make sure that you have the latest version of the DMM software installed, connect the supplied AC/DC adapter to your HDD Jukebox and the power supply.
2. Hook up your hdd with the computer via the USB cable.
3. If your HDD player is used as an external harddisk (for storage and transfer of any data files), make a backup of these files with your PC.
4. Click “Download Firmware Upgrade – Software” to download the zip file with the firmware to a temporary directory or on the desktop by clicking SAVE.
5. Unzip the file. Go to the temporary directory where the file was unzipped, then click the file del.exe to clean up your music Database.
6. Launch Philips Digital Media Manager (DMM)
7. Click PREFERENCES at the bottom of the menu.
8. In the preferences menu, click UPGRADE. Go to the temporary directory again point at the file Philips.mi4 and click OK to start loading firmware into your Audio Jukebox.
9. Once the firmware has been loaded, you may eject and unplug your Audio Jukebox from the computer's USB connector.
